Do you have any tips for people, like myself, who just draw using pencil? I've already made some drawings an posted them on DA (someone actually wanted to buy a custom drawing from me!), but I want to improve my drawings. So do you have any kind of advice? (Also, she's adorable!)

Well I don't really work with pencils so I can't give any specific technique ideas or such :'3

First thing first, it's very important to work on anatomy and art dynamics (example: Point perspective, Line of Action, Expressions)

Next would be to consider shading if you want that in your style -

and optionally, if you want to try and improve on the pencil style beyond that, and if you want to vary the depth, you may choose to decide getting graded pencils so you can do light and dark spots easier.

Can't think too far past that, just gotta make sure you keep trying and to try out different art lessons from time to time. Mark Crilley on youtube gives nice tutorials for example.
