Falling On You
It was a dreary morning once again. As Leopardkit blinked the sleep out of his eyes, the sun hid its face behind dense clouds. Though they did not threaten to bring rainfall, they made the camp chilly. His mama had sent him outside shortly before, having him practice waking up earlier for his upcoming apprentice days. As he lay on his side grooming himself, he wondered if he should just go back inside. It was warm and comfortable in there, and without the sun out, he was even considering joining Mom in the warriors den. His short coat didn’t help him warm up at all.
He rested his head on his paws, yawning. With nothing to do or warm him...
