- PLEASE READ -
As you know, I've been busy working on taking the first year of fine arts. Finally They have given my qualifications (all super good) and I returned to my village until September. In this time I have focused on using my Twitter (@paderivas) and Instagram (@paulethriver), where I have continually uploaded both class and personal works.
But now I have been very sorry don't been able to continue with some of my projects here in DeviantArt, such as the "feature time" I had planned for months collecting works by artists not very well known.
I know DeviantArt is a bit dead, but I still refuse to let him go.
- no order of importance
- I will always include a comment on why I chose this artist / work
- if you want to give it fav, let it be to the original work.
LET'S START!!!1- My little Beastie by
This artist is able to capture with pastel colors and few elements a great innocence and sweetness. Don't feel the necesity to introduce complex elements or too many details, spot on with 3 elements.
2- Calm Bunnies by
Although this isn't her most common line of work, I think it is the most successful and the one that stands out most technically. The gesture of his drawings is impeccable, although he still has much to improve. But these types of artists are the ones that are cooler to watch grow!
3- (Art Trade) Clemence by
I don't forget you and I know that I have an art trade to fulfill ... I'm really sorry I'm a mess! But I feel the need to share with the world another fan of the wonderful universe of Wakfu. You can see the influence on that wonderful choice of colors and composition.
I can read her eyes, she's ready to the fight!4- Broken puppe
Maybe it's me who has an obsession with the narrative behind the dolls, or because I'm too emotional myself and I like this kind of work. But the calm and sad expression at the same time of this doll when having a broken heart transmits me a lot. Besides the choice of colors and the technique of this artist can be seen that is impeccable.5- Goldeen Egg by This person stands out for having very detailed works done in watercolor. She usually does portraits. It has a line of use of very defined colors, as well as the features that it draws. But (I at least) I'm a super fan of these simpler but very inspiring pieces.
It was so hard to choose one!
6- Midnight Monologues by The works of this artist just amaze me. I've been following it for a while and discovered it through Instagram. It has a style that reminds me of the illustrated books I read when I was a child. His line is always very fluid (made with a brushpen as you can see) and the presence of color is minimal but sufficient, highlighting its beautiful linework. All her works have life on their own, and that is not too common.
7- Coca by
You look at this? Well It never worked to me hahaha I chose this work because it was one of the most finished of your gallery, because this person spends most of his time making digital sketches. And now let's get serious, HOW? I am unable to do more than 3 sketches to digital without getting tired or stiff-handed ... Total admiration.
And this is all for now! I hope I have discovered someone interesting and that these people get much more feedback and public.
I promise to don't take so long to make the second journal of this series.
