Someone on forum mentioned, "(oh, interesting titbit, Game Informer (May 2016 issue) revealed that Lunafreya is actually the renamed Stella rather than a complete replacement: basically, they embellished and strengthened the original character so much it didn't seem right calling her the same, so they gave her a new first name). Beyond that, I'm just trusting them to deliver a grand, moving and possibly tragic story for these characters we've followed for so long."

Anyway they love to lie to fans, well yeah Stellaluna is still stellaluna, they just needed to adapt and finally decide what they were going to do with her, but hey Stella can be her second name in the game 
I'am happy that she is also 24 years olders, Noctis is 20 years old, and I am just happy that a woman is more older than a man for this.
Did you the scene the little sneak peek of Luna and Regis talking in Kingsglaive ?
I'AM more interest in the film than in the game now, as it really looks like Versus (world around seems destroyed, lost of hope, invasion of Lucis and it's destruction, and they have put the paint of Etro in one of the pictures, we see Nyx and Lunafrena talk before an aquarium with a paint of Etro inside of it (they never really deleted the scene where Noct and Stell us to talk, but Nyx replace Noctis hahaha) (also I don't why but I prefer lunafrena, it's more pretty to me haha)
