Yes, dear. A bit. Definitely not chronic. Sometimes I think it might be from dreams. It comes and goes!
I find myself waking up more and more at 3 and 4am, and being unable to sleep.

I tend to have trouble falling asleep. I've had trouble waking up for as long as I can remember. Sometimes when I'm alone it's harder to sleep, but I'm rarely alone.

:tighthug: I'm glad to hear you're not alone, so hopefully that makes things a little easier. I'm sorry you've had so much trouble with it... that sounds exhausting.
I guess I was kind of shocked, because I was pretty sure I had hypersomnia (I would sleep for 16+ hours every day). I would sleep everywhere: school, work, the park. I just wanted to sleep all the time; I was sure I was going to get fired with how tired I always felt and looked. I'm pretty sure it was a symptom of my depression, but I am not a doctor; I didn't want to take it to one because my usual doctor didn't really believe in mental illness. Anyway, I went from hibernating to suddenly counting paint grooves in the ceiling and feeling so tired I wanted to cry, but I could never get there. Sometimes, it was dreams, but I don't think that was usually the case. Sleep and I are still fighting, but at least it's an on-off thing that makes logical sense: no sleep, and then oversleep the next night. But I'll take it!

I hope that you are able to find a working solution for you. That sounds really hard.
