As our car got closer and closer to Custer we came across an old dredge gold mine (or I believe that's what it was. I cannot quite recall). It was a beautiful piece of history and the guy that ran it (there was a museum inside) was not afraid to launch into tale after tale until our brains were full of the amazing things the building had helped do. It was very interesting but there was water beneath this building that was almost still water and so there were many insects, including mosquitos. Of all the days to forget my bug spray, right? :|

This may not be as good as some of my other photos but I felt like it had something and I decided to post it. Hope you enjoy it

This has a very unique appeal. Love the angles. And the color contrasting slightly with the rocks...
