If you use my stock in any way for any reason you MUST Follow These RULES!!.

Stock Credit lines update/Commercial use charges updated to be clearer (prices outlined).

How to use theses rules:

Each of my stock "types" has a list of what section(s) of my rules apply.
Find the right type for the stock image in question, read those sections and any exceptions or exclusions for that type.

If you still have questions then ASK ME.

Before you start though, What is stock and what is not?

ONLY the work in the "STOCK" folders and all the sub folders in that directory may be used as stock, do NOT use my other work as stock.

6.The Right To Remove My Stock From Your Work

If ALL my rules are not followed I reserve the right to have you remove my stock from your work/remove the work completely.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Commercial/Print/Commission Use

Commercial use counts as any work for gain be it paid/points or contests with sizeable prizes,

The bottom line is if you are looking to make money using my stock, then we NEED to talk first.

All fees from commercial are put back into helping fund more equipment, props/clothing etc.

Individual Commercial Use.
The following charges apply depending on price of the work involved.
£50 or under = £2.5 or 10% whichever is bigger.
Over £50-£200 = £5 or 15% whichever is bigger.

Anything over £200 lets talk first.

OR

Blanket Fee.
The alternative for heavier use of my stock is the blanket fee of £20. (Currently works out at less than 0.5 pence per image).
This covers the use of my stock past/present and future in any commercial/commission work (With restrictions, See Below).

The above is intended for people creating art for individuals or clients where the end result is sold to them as is:
Posters.
Fan Art.
Custom Characters etc.
If The Work Is Digital/E-Book/Digital download album etc.. Commercial use IS ALLOWED under the Blanket/Individual Fee, I just ask for notification first.

Restrictions (Regarding work for a Client/3rd Party to re-sell).

Restrictions apply to the intended resale of work created from my stock (I.E Album art/Book Covers).

If the work created to be used in physical print/hard copy or on/in something the 3rd party intends to sell on I need to be consulted
mostly for to agree on the subject matter, crediting and usage, at most a small additional fee if it's a large volume/use.

This applies to things like
Book Covers
Album Art
Artwork For Campaigns/Organisations
Designs For Merchandise
T-Shirt Designs
Etc.

Commissions/Requests

See HERE!!
Stock Commissions OPEN!!Stock Commissions/Requests.
I Take Commissions For Pose/Costumed Stock.
Fancy seeing a specific pose or set of stock from me.. you have two options.
Suggestion List.
I have a suggestion list on my front page, if you want to see something added sent me a message or a note, if I like it enough I will add it and at some point I might just do it.
Keep in mind the suggestion list is JUST THAT, it is not a promise I will ever get round to it.
Or.....
Stock Commissions.
I take commissions for specific poses/outfits etc.
I do either public or exclusive commissions (See below).
1-9 Images (A Pack). £5
1-9 Images Exclusive. £8

To clarify what "Exclusive" means in the below, any images not exclusive will at some point go up on DA
after the requester has had adequate time to use them.
Exclusive packs are automatically cleared for Commercial/Commission by the commissioner with the usual excepti

Hi again, I have a bit of delema, I drew this old sketch dump awhile back and I recently dug it out to do the lineart for it. However, I believe I may have used two of your stock images as a refrence for some fighting poses. (To clearify I only used them as references and did not use the actual image in the drawing nor am I intending to sell it to anyone) I don’t want to put the image up if this concerns you, but should I credit you for the images or should I not put the image up at all? (Hopefully this makes sense, apologizes if it doesn’t or if it was already states in the rules)

edit: Apologizes! I found both stock images online made by a completely diffrent person! I’m not sure of the woman’s name who does the stock images since most of the links go to Pintrest but she does a lot of action shots, she typically wears a blue tank top and has darker hair if your curious about her images. Other than that i’m sorry to bother you and I hope your having a good day!

Bless either way it's cool.
If you ever use my stock and want to post it all you need to do is give the credit. To my account in general will do it does not need to be to the specific pose.
As you did not use mine as you say in this case.. what harm could you have done... hint.. none :)

So I just wanna make sure, would it be alright to make a free YCH thingy using one of your stock pics as a pose reference? I wouldn't be making any profit from it or anything like that

Null-Entity|Hobbyist General Artist
YCH are right on the edge of what I would deny as a use of my stock, as they are very much like doll bases which allow people to work from the pose.
The whole issue it creates with things like doll bases is..
I make pose/pose.
Person B makes doll base.
Person C uses the doll base are reference.
Where do we then stand on stock credit/any commercial use etc.
There is no right answer so I have avoided that entire debate by saying no to things like this.

As such I find it somewhat disrespectful that you appear to not have waited for an answer to this question before proceeding....

Crap I'm so sorry! I genuinely forgot I even asked I was so tired last night. I read a different set of rules that the reference linked to and it said something different so I thought it might be okay. I deleted the YCH and anything related to it, again I sincerely apologize for posting it without waiting for a response

Ok, well to clarify in answer to your original question I did want to talk to you about it.
As it stands you based the YCH off one of the kickstarter images which are Creative Commons, as such they would in fact be free to use and perfectly fine for the YCH.
I would have and would still ask for a stock credit on the YCH and for all pieces created from it, but otherwise it is fair game.

However.
My normal stock/non CC stock is not ok for YCH use/as well as Dolls/bases etc and all my usual/full rules apply.

Not sure if that makes sense but it's a bit of a shame you chose to delete/remove them all.

I basically asked this on a deviation but I figured I'd go ahead and ask this more directly here, just for 100% clarification.
For your poses/stock that are able to be used for artwork (such as drawing, as I draw rather than do photo manipulation) am I allowed to use your poses for female characters or other wise "genderbent"?
It won't be you, there are just a lot of awesome stock images I found in your gallery that would fit some of my female characters and hoped it would be okay for me to use your pose for female characters.

Hello, friend! I am interested in using one of your stock photos (this one, particularly) and I noticed that you had mentioned something about fetish type art not really being allowed. Does this include the depiction of blood but not heavy gore?

Hi,I am not sure I follow your question, are you talking about a festish use or gore? they are two entirely different things?

They can coincide depending on how the gore is presented. But as I have mentioned in my previous comment, I wouldn't be doing any depictions of heavy gore, maybe just minor amounts of blood.

alright so, just so I get it straight:

The blanket fee is for anything where the final piece is just that, the final piece: So if used your poses as reference for a commission, a "Your Character Here" Auction (which is just a commission based thing people bid on where the character is in a set pose), or prints (I vend at conventions, plus I have a Society6 where I sell just my print works).

I do not plan of using your poses for stuff like Ebooks or stuff of that ilk. So with this in mind, I would just pay the blanket fee, correct?

Yeah that's pretty much it :D anythng where you are the last person to sell the work is covered under than blanket fee/or normal one of charge for individual instances say you only wanted to do the one commission.

The main thing not covered under the blanked fees is if you are making it for someone else to see for themselves. :) I hope that is clear/believe I get whatvyoy are saying :)

I've got a follow up question for that because my reading comprehension isn't great. If I use one of your poses as reference for a private commission (a character commission for someone who isn't further going to publish it except maybe their social media) do I have to pay a fee?
