My Fanon Backstory: Born as Snowkit to Ambersight. Snowkit was raised by his father, and the queens in the nursery. He got his milk from the queens, though his father was the one to raise him. When Snowpaw was made an apprentice, he was told how his mother died giving birth to him, and hoe Ambersight had vowed to raise their son the best he could. Snowpaw's apprenticeship was normal, and he earned the name Snowtuft for the tufts of fur on the tips of his ears. Things changed for Snowtuft when he was given a special mission by Heavystar. He was ordered to hunt in Carrionplace for a large rat, as the knowledge was needed so more warriors wouldn't die from it's sickness. He carried out the task, and was highly praised by the clan. After that, Heavystar gave him more missions, each one getting more and more dangerous. The medicine cat asked Heavystar to stop, as Snowtuft could easily get badly injured or killed, but Heavystar and Snowtuft didn't listen. Snowtuft eventually began to stop listening to Heavystar, getting too cocky. His cockyness got to the point where he did nothing to save Heavystar from being killed by rogues, being too busy with his current task. The deputy, Foxflame, punished him by forcing him to stay in camp for two moons, for his behavior getting Heavystar killed. Once she became Foxstar, she told Snowtuft that he'd have no more special missions. Snowtuft was disappointed, and started to be reckless while on patrol, getting to the point where almost his whole patrol was killed during a border scuffle. He was blamed for the deaths, and promptly exiled. Snowtuft was upset, not properly understanding why he was exiled, so he left for Mothermouth. Once there, he asked Fallowstep, his former medicine cat, why he'd been exiled. He told Snowtuft that he'd disregarded the lives of others, and that ShadowClan had no room for a cat like that. Enraged, Snowtuft attacked him. The two fought, and it ended with Fallowstep shoving Snowtuft's head forcefully into the Moonstone, killing him.
