Description

Zygomaturus trilobus was a diprotodont marsupial from the Pleistocene of Southern Australia. Smaller than its relative Diprotodon, it measured about 2.5 meters in length. Characterized by its large nose bump and its well developed cheek bones, It probably lived in swampy areas feeding on plants.

I'm still of the persuasion that it had horns. Zygomaturines could rear on their back legs, more like a chalicothere, not a hippo.
