Just wanted you all to get a sneak peak of my skyward sword zelda. It's practically finished. The only thing left to do is to style the wig.

Will probably scrap this later.

For those who are interested, you can see my progress on my tumblr.

Okay, I'm gonna start asking questions about this, since I am making the same costume. :XD:

-How did you stick the chest jewel on?
-What fabric did you use for the dress?
-What fabric did you use for the sail-cloth?

hehe, everyone keeps looking at this pic, i have some finished product pics of this one.

-hot glue
-linen
-ummmm when i made mine, i didn't know it was sail cloth cuz i only had one picture to go on XD so its just like cotton or flannel. some loose white fabric. but i don't think it would work now that i know its a sail cloth. i'd go for something thicker.

Wow, this looks incredible! If you don't mind me asking, what did you use for the gem on the chest? Also, how did you make the medallion belt and the metal piece on the wide belt?
It appears you sewed the gold trim on...but how did you do the bird motif on the sailcloth and blue hip drape? Did you sew those on too, or was it some sort of fabric paint?

Sorry...I'm still pretty green at cosplay and I'm still learning all the tricks of the trade.

Thanks! I have a better picture of me actually wearing it. The gem is super sculpey i pressed into a mold then painted. The Medallion belt was a bunch of wood i found that i felt looked like it. Put them together and spray painted them. The gold trim or yellow ribbon and the motif on the blur hip thing, i used heat and bond and put it on there. It wasn't one of my serious costumes so i didn't sew much down. It was a lot of heat and bond and glue. It was rather enjoyable not doing it seriously.

On my tumblr, I actually have progress pics of most of my stuff! Including this one!

I went and looked at some of your other pics of this costume, and man it's gorgeous. I can't believe people can get away with something this good without even trying... T_T

I'm having a terrible time finding the right materials for this costume, which I'm trying to make for my sister. I wonder...If I commissioned the belts for this costume from you, how much would they be and how fast do you think you could have them done?

Sorry! I normally do REALLY complicated ones and then i decided to do this one and it was much simpler!

I've been commissioned for this outfit before, I could do the belts for you but it depends on when you would need it. I have a bunch of commissions for Plushies.

It's linen material XP i thought it gives it a more realistic look despite the color being so bright. And the gold is actually just canary yellow ribbon. *bows* thank you!
