Description
This is Epic Thagrosh, a warcaster from the Legion of Everblight, the Crystalline Affliction.
Two primary factors in how he's done:
- First, he's been converted so that all spikes have been replaced with actual amethyst crystal.
- Second, he's painted in a cell-shaded style, defined by deep shadows, strong contrasts and almost messy hashing used in shadows and highlights.

First used the cell-shaded style on the miniatures I painted for charity based on characters from Borderlands:
