Yarnu
Species: Spidops (XL)

Notes:

• Met on Poco Path at level 2 as a little ball of yarn. He was the second Pokémon caught by me.
• As a tarountula, he’d carefully observe the tactics of my more “powerful” and battle ready Pokémon. Now fully grown, he’s very strategic and knows how to handle a fight either with a swift end or patience. He is looked up to by other members of the team, a rock to lean on when times get tough.
• Is a great listening ear, especially over a meal.

Shiki
Species: Grafaiai (L)
Gender: Male
Nature: Rash
Characteristic: Proud of its power
Held Item: Leftovers
Notes:

• Met on Poko Path at level 5 as a small mouse scrounging in the grass. He was all alone. Maybe he lost his horde? Or maybe he ventured out to seek strong opponents in order to prove his own strength? After getting to know him better, the latter seems to fit the mark.
• Thinks he can take on anything (and usually can). He’s gotten me out of many tough situations.
• Became good friends with Poipoi and is very defensive of him.

Poipoi
Species: Clodsire
Gender: Male

Characteristic: Impetuous and silly

Notes:

• Met in Area one of the South Province at level 5 as a young, good boy playing in the creek.
• Is a very good boy.
• Tried to feed us all mud pies once.
• He might be a bit slow and not always good in battle, but he’s always there. To get back up. To offer a laugh. To see things through.

Enoki
Species: Toedscruel (S)
Gender: Male
Nature: Quirky
Characteristic: Takes plenty of siestas

Notes:

• Met in a crystal cavern early on at level 12 as a high-flying shroom.
• Would love to run around a lot as a toedscool. Some of the other members of the team would run around me once or twice, but Enoki was constant. Running and running until he’d get dizzy.
• Once evolved, he became a bit more clumsy, and while he doesn’t have the same nimbleness as he once did, he is still extremely swift in a fight, using up all his focus in the heat of the moment.
• Seems to have dreams of flying? Although being a grass/ground type, he doesn’t like to stay rooted in one spot for long, except when he’s napping, as I will oftentimes see him try to jump from high places without the aid of his flying tera form.
• Likes to sneak up behind people.

Tinkra
Species: Tinkaton (S)
Gender: Female
Nature: Jolly
Characteristic: Strong willed
Held Item: Covert Cloak
Notes:

• Met on Dalizapa Passage at level 35 as an adolescent gremlin.
• Very moody early on. Would only attack some of the time when I asked her and it was almost always with her mallet. Sometimes she’d run off to clobber some pour soul without my permission.
• Prides hammer. DO NOT touch hammer.
• We came to a mutual understanding after I, very poorly, but eventually succeeded in defeating the ice type gym without her help.
• Became the spirit of the team, cheering everyone on and never doubting our success.

Byx
Species: Baxcalibur (XXL)
Gender: Male
Nature: Jolly
Characteristic: Strong willed
Held Item: King’s Rock
Notes:

• Met on Dalizapa Passage at level 38 as a wide-eyed cave toddler after having accidentally fallen in a very large cavern (I’m pretty sure Tinkra pushed me…).
• Early on I think Byx thought me strange since I literally fell from the sky, stumbling upon him. Because of this it took him longer to trust me. I think he wanted to make sure I wasn’t some nutcase with a concussion before deciding he wanted to be associated with me.
• Became good friends with Tinkra. Pretty sure they teamed up to make fun of me.
• Eventually warmed up to me after Tinkra did and both provided good spirits for the team.
• Thinks he’s stronger than he actually is (maybe because of his size?), but has long since learned to ask for help when needed and cheers the others on with gusto.
