Opens up to Jay gloating, his foot set firmly on top of the stone showing it off to the crowd. Konjac is eyeing it excitedly as Nuri & Wren look on behind Jay, annoyed and wet. They are on the shore of Attwell, the Spiked Canon ships docked behind them and the town in front where Jay would be facing. Around them are the wet and and excited teams alike as the glowing stone pulses before them.

“We’ve done it, we found the key for Izel and for Rift City!”

He smirks and looks behind himself towards Nuri and Wren.

“Looks like the Roaring Icebergs are shaping up to be treasure hunters extraordinaires, wouldn’t you say, Ardent Butts?

Nuri scoffs, refusing to make eye contact as she turns her head to the side. “Accidentally finding treasure is one thing, but you could certainly stand to learn a thing or two about how to actually help people.”

Jay’s face twitches as his smiles wanes.

“We help plenty of people too, Nuri. You’re just too busy with your face buried in some stupid chart to notice.”

Nuri blinks the insult off and looks down at the key,

“Well none of that matters now does it? Finding the key was a joint effort on Izel’s behalf.”

She bends down towards the key trying to pick it up from under jay’s foot.

“Now if you’d just hand it over, we can make preparations to test-“

Jay slaps the hand away with his spare foot, his face a bit comically exaggerated.

“Nope, not on my watch!!! There’s no way I’m letting you take the key back to Rift City! I found the gate and my guild brought the key to me first so I- the Roaring Icebergs deserve the credit!”

Nuri’s annoyance is mounting.

“That’s egotistical of you to put something as petty as credit over the city, but fine, you can run along and test the key yourself.”

Jay huffs chest puffing it as he turns away towards the river.

“Yeah, well, I will, and it’ll take half as long for me to get back before you could have! Being quick is important too if the gate is super dangerous, just watch!”

The teams stare stunned as Jay runs off down, the river key tucked in his scarf. Tiva walks into frame looking nervously over her shoulder towards something we can’t see.

“Hey Jay, you got a second? I think Glitch is-“

She turns around, an awestruck look dawning her face as Jay is seen running in the distance.

“JAY!!!”

Tiva calls out and Jay skids to a stop. The teams watch in disbelief as Tiva and Jay shout the following conversation to each other:

“OH, TIVA! I NEED YOU TO KEEP THE GUILD IN CHECK WHILE I GO TO SEE IF THIS ROCK WORKS ON THE DOOR!”

“WAIT! SHOULDN'T WE COME WITH YOU OR SOMETHING?”

“NAH! MORE MONS TEND TO SLOW THINGS DOWN! JUST WAIT HERE I'LL BE RIGHT BACK! YOU'LL DO FINE TIVA! YOUR SUPER ON TOP OF STUFF!”

Jay turns and runs down the river.

“THANKS TIVA YOU’RE THE BEST!”
