At a young age, I wasn't interested in the majority of things that most kids were. I watched movies or read books on war, survival and the hardships of life. I was stuck in a home full of realists, which motivated me to become interested in one thing--to find out what the world is really like.
After being involved with the Canadian Red Cross and other volunteer organizations during my teenage years, I could only observe how easily this cold, unforgiving universe we live in can delay or stop us from living our lives.
So, I got involved in a 'practical' lifestyle. Self-reliance if you'd like. I've trained myself with the use of firearms, basic emergency medicine, extreme athletics or anything I would find useful to get past daily obstacles.
So, here I am. Still learning, and still adapting. Just trying to better understand everything.
