It has been a while.
I graduated with my BFA.I drove across america, North Carolina to California; Kansas was beautiful, Colorado was majestic. I didn't want to leave Big Sur.I decided to grow my hair out.
Long time no see.
I recently found a small painting in my room and I thought I'd offer the chance to have it from me before I give it to someone or throw it away.
It's approx. 8 x 10". Gouache on gessoed cardboard. I'd take $10 USD for it.
If you're interested, you can send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Thank you for all of your comments and love that has collected over several months. I've tried to reply to all questions, but if yours wasn't answered, just note me and I'll get back to you with time.
In the mean time, you can view my art here:
I have up a lot of new stuff and I'd love for you to check it out.
I also have a more personal/non-art related blog here:
See you around, have a nice summer.
I will no longer be uploading my art to Deviant, for the following reasons:
2. Softcore Porn.
3. Really bad fan art.
4. Rather than real talent being showcased, the aforementioned three categories predominate the DA homepage.
Sure, a few of those soft-glowy, big-titted, underaged cartoons are really impressive. And yes, some people have vagina's worthy of being considered art. And sometimes those damn Robert Pattinson drawings don't completely in resemble a foot. But I would rather not have to sift through enormous amount of shit to find some decent, inspiring work.
You can find me here from now on:
"People say that what we're all seeking is a meaning for life. I don't think that's what we're really seeking. I think what we're seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonance within our own innermost being and reality, so that we actually feel the rapture of being alive. That's what it's all finally about." Joseph Campbell
This is all I have for you, for now.
"I'm telling you, it's our human duty to enjoy life. Wasting it, you desecrate a great gift. We've got to be greedy about living. We learned that greed is a vice, but that's old. Greed is a virtue. Especially this greediness for life. Go and reclaim the life you have wasted." Akira Kurosawa

long time no see.
lately I have written papers on batman vs. spider man,
an argument in opposition to marriage, learned how to
properly use a semicolon, when magnesium looks like
when you set it on fire, how to say 'I am going to do
the laundry tomorrow', in Spanish, and what f(x) is
when x=an absurd and awful, enormous equation.
so basically I have not been up to much.
I've been getting a lot of questions lately about prices for my artwork:
a) my art is not worth anything without someone to look at it, so I don't have a specific 'asking price'.
b) I understand not everyone can afford art, BUT I think price should not determine who can and cannot celebrate art, so I try to be reasonable.
c) I do put a lot of time into these, and so I can't just give my work away (if you want a free copy, the download button is to the left.) I have sold drawings in the price range of 15-80$USD, if this gives you an idea.
I hope this helps! If you're interested, please note or email (email@example.com) me, I wo

+ In advance, I would like to apologise if I'm late replying or disappear for long periods of time, I don't foresee myself dying anytime in the near future, I'll just be busy studying for English or Chemistry, which generally feeds on the time I would spend drawing. ISN'T THAT UPSETTING!?
+ As always, contact me in a note or email (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you are interested in buying some of my artwork (!!!) or have any questions.
