Here I am back to making stamps. Geez it's been a while hasn't it?
This time I discuss a topic that's been on my mind for a while. Spirituality. Many people seem to think spirituality is only for the religious, but it's quite the polar opposite. I consider myself an agnostic atheist, meaning I don't believe in Gods or anything religious and that I feel they can't be proven or disproven. However, that doesn't mean agnoticism and atheism are incompatible with spirituality. In fact, they go well together just as perfectly as religion does, probably even more so. Same can be said for science. I myself am intrigued with the concept of spirituality as it showcases that every creature is connected with one and other through Nature, Earth and the Universe (yes, animals can be spiritual). Although I can't speak for everyone, I believe anyone can be spiritual, no matter what your personal beliefs are. It can definitely bring a positive outlook.
Trust me, you don't need to believe in a supernatural being to be spiritual. Because when you look at it from a scientific standpoint, they argue that when we die, our bodies decompose back to Nature and the atoms that make our consciousness return to the galaxy. That in itself is the science kind of way to explain spirituality. Of course, others will have a different perspective but that's what makes spirituality in itself fascinating and whether you believe in a deity or not is irrelevant.
Well, if you mean paranormal activity, that's not exactly the same as spirituality. Spirituality is more to do with the conscious mind and inner spirit. Ghosts, as portrayed in the media, are basicly flying souls that haunt some place on the planet where the person was deceased which I personally don't believe in since they haven't been proven. Same can be said for mythological creatures.
