i don't often post here so i can't remember if i told you, but i'm currently undergoing cancer treatment. i'm in chemotherapy and it's just about as awful as you've heard/can imagine! but i am almost done the first course of chemotherapy drugs, getting ready to start the second. after that i'll have radiation therapy and hopefully -hopefully- once that is complete i will be cancer free.
really, you do not want to get cancer if it can be avoided. it's particularly awful. especially if your lymph nodes allow cancer cells to enter them, like mine did. if you know a bit about cancer and wonder what stage i'm in, it's 2b/3a. so i'm going to survive (as much as anyone else is!) but the treatment absolutely sucks.
it's been very hard to work or draw and so i've been struggling.
if you can support by giving me a couple extra bucks that'd be wonderful. if not, that's fine. i just wanted people to know i haven't abandoned any projects... just it's tough to do anything while also fighting cancer.

"hi, i want to use your art for my mural!" i can't be the only one getting this spam from different bots several times a month. i'm starting to wonder if this is how the ai camp is trying to get around those of us who have opted out of having our work scraped for their art theft machine. "manufacture consent under false pretexts" sounds like the kind of executive business choice they'd make.

hey!!! so my birthday (as indicated by my little cake pixels) is coming up this sunday! and really, all i want? is to be able to buy a bulk supply of the arthritis medication my oldest cat needs. i made a gofundme for it, since its abt 300$ usd total and that's a fair chunk of change. if you can contribute or just share it around, that'd be a huge help. really, literally, it's all i want for my birthday. to make my old lady comfortable, in a way that maybe breaks the bank slightly less. anthro new england was amazing, i love that con. i'll make myself write up a proper journal for it on my website soon.

Oof, that's rough. Take it easy, that's... that's really all I can say without repeating the cliched platitudes that probably don't really help. So, take it easy and take care of yourself and don't forget to ask for help or support from those around you.
