I don't know if this club is still active but I need some advices on writing Zhao. I'm working on starting a story where he survives the attack of the Ocean Spirit and joins the gaang because he has basically nowhere else to go due to his failed siege. There is a female OC (no Mary-Sue) with them who is taking care of the teens since before the discovery of Aang in the iceberg and basically the 'Mom' of the group as the only actual adult. How would behave the former admiral except being grumpy, snarly, "Being nice ? Never heard of it", "Affection ? Disgusting... Go on." and "You touch one of mine, I RIP you" ? Do you have any tips I could use ?
