Tang's owner took "Hugo's" Tack away with her, plus Tangs saddle cloths. The ones I slaved over with a scrubbing brush to get all the hair off or loose before throwing then in the wash. Now I've been left with a shitty thin numna and a thicker pony saddle cloth that doesn't fit. Not to mention the tack box that had a bunch of boots and spare head collars in it. The more I look around, the less stuff its there and its annoying. Luckly I'm getting payed on Wednesday so I'll just buy her the sapphire blue saddlecloth and half pad ive been eyeing for months.

I'm so sorry hon. You should call her. Make sure you get your stuff back, be like "Hey I think there was a mixup cause I'm missing a lot of stuff when you moved and I can only think that it might have fallen in your packing by accident. Im sorry for takeing your time but finding this stuff would be really good for my horse."

But that's the thing, its either Neils or hers.
But Hugo and Tango had their own saddle cloths and she's took both leaving me with the shitty, dirty ones.
Also annoys me that Hugo's saddle is fairly new and he only needs the one, whereas Tango's is old and worn and need two.
I'm not even sure if Neil has notest the boot box gone yet but I'm sure it had some of his stuff in it.

Ugh man, I’ve had this problem too, problem is I don’t know who’s taking my horses things so
there’s not much I can do. I’ve had 3 halters, 5 leadropes and 3 saddle cloths go missing, I’m
super irritated with it. Now I bring everything but one halter and lead rope home with me, since
no-one can take her “only” halter because she can’t be brought in from the field.
Hope you can get this sorted, it really sucks :(

OH I know that feeling, Barns are the worst for it.
The barn I went to and learned at was so bad for stuff going missing.

I think I lost 4 maybe 5 crops to the riding school over 6 years because I'd drop it when getting off and forget to pick it back up.
And then go back like a few days later and it was nowhere to be seen. Leadropes and headcollars, brushing boots, chaps, even stable cleaning stuff.
You couldn't bring a brush up for personal use without someone trying to take it.

I was given a brush to keep by this really nice woman who I use to lead in lessons and chat to. Brand new.
It lasted about 2 weeks before it went missing and then lent up in the stables equipment. And no matter how many times I told people it was my personal
brush I'd go up a few days later and its gone again and back in the stable equipment. It eventually got ruined but the stable-hand kids using
it on the road to sweep (basically a dirt road) and so the bristles became flimsy and it was just full of dirt.

The other thing was soaps, sprays and lik-its. Fly spray HAD to be hidden otherwise you'd buy a new bottle, use it once and then come back with two uses left in it.
Likits tubs had to be written on with your name and horses name or someone would have been off with it.
And then brushes had to also be written on and hidden in your box or some riding school kid would be off with it.

I'm at a 3 horse privet yard so basically If I didn't move it and Neil hasn't seen it, Tang's owner has taken it.

Ugh yes, it’s the worst.
Crops omg, I lost count of how many has been stolen.
someone also stole my horses rug, not realising I’d embroidered
her name into it, so when I saw it on another horse I could actually
say something. Still went missing again a few days later though :’’’)

You honestly have to write your name on everything, or like you've done and embroidered her name on it.
The barn I learned iat was and still is a Livery/Riding school so there is alot of people going through
so Its so easy to take stuff that doesn't have a name on it or you misplace something for all of 5 seconds and it's gone.
Another thing that was bad was people taking feed. Everyone kept their feed in this big shipping container so it was easy
to take a scoop of something that's not yours. It may be only like one scoop but over time it does allocate to a lot of feed.

Ugh. That sounds so annoying... and expensive. Why can't you just call them out?

I honestly don't want to deal with her, she's just that kind of person but fair enough.
I've been wanting to buy stuff for Tang but didn't want to in case she was moved.
This just kinda gives me an excuse but its annoying none the less

:/ What if she just takes that stuff too though? Unless you bring it back and forth with you every time you head out there.

She wouldn't dare, If she did she wouldn't only be dealing with me but also the stable owner. He wouldn't stand for that.

Maybe get the stable owner involved with the rest of the missing tack then...?

The saddle and I think the bridle is his
And some stuff in the tack box.
I dk why she even took his tack with her as he can't be ridden due to having joint fluid build up in his back leg

Maybe just confront her about your stuff accidentally being mixed up with hers? Nicely? Maybe it would provide an uglier confrontation, but yeah, if she took it when she doesn't even need it... Maybe she is trying to take it. That or maybe she's taking it to get stuff cleaned and repaired.
