The morning after the run-in with the strangers in Holmsa, Lark finds them gone. Dissipated into the wind. His suspicions raise- it was odd for them to cross Holmsa, a coastal town, on the way to Skeldr. When his men reveal that some resources are missing, Lark curses his poor judgment. Were probably Vagabond thieves on the hunt to scavenge from a devastated town.
Another few days of miserable work culling usable timber from the remaining buildings, and the crew returns home to Skeldr where Lark finds another devastation- Grigori has been kidnapped. Though not fond of Hira's children, the grief it causes Hira metastasizes into his own rage. Bloody Cultists stealing children- was there no end to their depravity?
