On the busy streets

You can see , la Haine

Etched on people’s faces

Ready to fight ,

Upon a inconsequential

Sleight .

La tistesse

Fearful , and sad

Abandoned , and lonely

They grow old , surviving .

Their family too busy

La nature humaine

We think we’re great

But we overestimate

God did forge us in his name

He informed us

To return

But we forget

That we’ll die

And our souls
