Lol :D

Pooh is good; Iíve always been a big Winnie the Pooh fan..

I didnít know quite what this was supposed to represent when I did it, but this is what Iíve decided about it: The picture has always seemed vaguely sinister to me. Underneath being pretty. Maybe because itís my daughter, and I kept worrying sheíd fall in :/ The owl looked to me as tho it was looking at something either in, or over the water, and trying somehow to interest or influence my daughter. A Pied Piper kind of thingÖ

Course the owl looks plastic. (Well, the owl IS plastic after allÖ8-]) Which sort of makes it all kind of hard to take too seriously I guess. But maybe thatís ok.

If it makes people think of Pooh, tho, this is good. Maybe Pooh was somewhere there in the back of my mindÖ

This is very nice. At first I thought I was going to click to find it to be a digital manip. Very pleasantly surprised to find it otherwise. I love how itís dark and only the woman is really visible. Very nice.

Ok well here I have to do all of my manipulation confessions. I feel like i'm going to get in trouble or something if i don't :/

I did this years ago so I can't really remember what all i did to it. Changed the levels most likely--I'm always messing with levels on my photos. Took out some of the color overall and then added some touches selectively. Shaded the bottom of the owl to try to make him look less plastic. But i didn't figure the final product looked too terribly manipulated, so i choose to categorize it as just a photo.

Glad you like :)

I guess that I wouldnít classify that under Digital Manipulation either. These are all things that could be done in a darkroom. I always adjust the levels on my photos. Very rarely to things go untouched. But thatís no different then if you were developing them by hand.

I love the way the light is mainly focused on the girl and the owl, while the lake is shaded. This is a very awesome picture!
