Fighting Styles:
-Mainly uses Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts.
-Combines that fighting style with Karate techniques.
-Used to utilize Mishima Style Fighting Karate, but stopped using it out of spite.
--Only uses it in his Devil Form.

Electricity Manipulation:
-Jin's aura manifests itself as electricity.
-Jin can use it to enhance the power of his attacks.
-However, he can't use it for anything else. (In canon sources. He can shoot balls of lightning in SFxT)

Fire Manipulation:
-Can imbue some of his attacks with fire.

Devil Gene:
-A supernatural genetic abnormality in Jin's DNA.
-Inherited from Kazuya and Kazumi.
-Grants the bearer a huge amount of superhuman power at the cost of their rationality.
-Jin has achieved almost full control of it and can use some of its abilities without tapping into his Devil Form.
--Can fire lasers out of his forehead.

--Can summon an invisible barrier.

Resistance to Mind and Soul Manipulation:
-Thanks to Jun Kazama's blood, Jin can prevent the Devil Gene from taking over his mind completely.
-In addition to that, Jun's blood was able to damage Kazuya when he was trying to steal Jin's soul.

Alternate Forms

Devil Jin:
-A form achieved by Jin when he taps into the Devil Gene's full power.
-Makes Jin turn into a bloodlusted monster.
-Changes Jin's fighting style to Mishima Style Karate mixed with Kazama Style Martial Arts.
-Gains a whole slew of new powers.

Laser Beam:
-Devil Jin can fire powerful laser beams out of his forehead.
-They're more powerful than the ones Jin can use in his base form.

Flight:
-As you could expect, Devil Jin can use his huge wingspan to fly at high speeds.
-This ability can also be incorporated into his moveset.

Telekinesis:
-Devil Jin can use telekinesis to choke opponents.
-It was also used to destroy Hwoarang's motorcycle from a few meters away.

Energy Absorption:
-Devil Jin is able to absorb the life energy of his enemies.
-He can use this ability to gain a new surge of power.

What I'm confused is; is Jin's "electricity" ability is real? I think Tekken gameplay often enhances the character attacks with various auras to the point its ridiculous (like even Paul gains some fiery attacks; in cutscenes no auras like this, every character just fought normally).

Yes, it is an actual ability and not just a fancy effect, as it seems to affect Jack differently given how he's a robot. Granted I don't think it would allow him to directly shoot lightning or anything like that (although he does do this in SFxT), so it wouldn't be a game-changer in any way.

I judge by cutscenes (like intro where Kazuya & Heihachi fought Jack army) and his fight in Blood Vengeance seems the same as that intro. Where did it affect Jack differently (maybe forgot), and is that gameplay, or cutscene?

What I know is he's able to shoot lightning as Devil Jin, and that one is real (not fancy effect), but iirc SFxT just give more character fancy move in same manner as SF char's Hadoken or something.
