Description

Life in a drop of pond water. This was inspired by the pond life exhibit at the Ruthven Exhibit Museum at the University of Michigan, where I used to work. This was my second favorite diorama next to the Life Through the Ages room. Gives me warm fuzzies just thinking about it.

I love tardigrade. The water bears are the cuddliest of microscopic life.
They look made up. The name sounds made up.
They look like a monster from every science fiction and yet still look cute.
