Give Core Membership
I don't come here or post much at all. The only reason I'm keeping it for now is to keep all my past works up for people to see and such. I'm active over at tumblr, same username. Feel free to come and say hi or follow me if you like.
Also, please don't repost anything here without permission. I prefer to have a measure of control over the things I've done. So if you want stuff for a facebook group or a tumblr thing, please ask first. The works I don't have crossposted... more than likely I'll allow you to repost but only if you ask first and you give me a url that I can archive. The few I've crossposted, I prefer that you either reblog it from my tumblr account or post the original url that links to my post, rather than reposting on any other site. I'd just like to have some control over this stuff, to make it easy to find it and for me to control it. Especially my few original works I have on here. I'm just really leery of ppl using my work and posting it place... i've been burnt before.

Also, I have a pesterchum: apocalpyseDetective Pester me if you like, I suppose. I've decided that in lieu of personal information about me, I'd instead give you my recipe for butterscotch brownies. 1/2 stick unsalted butter 1 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon double-acting baking powder 1 large egg 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract 1 cup oatmeal Set oven rack to upper middle level. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 9- by 9-inch baking pan. Melt together in a small saucepan the butter and brown sugar. Set aside to cool slightly and while it cools, sift together into a separate bowl the flour and baking powder. Beat egg and vanilla into butter mixture. Stir flour mixture into butter mixture. Fold in oatmeal. Pour into prepared pan. Bake brownies on upper middle rack at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Cool on a wire rack, cut, and serve. Makes 1 dozen bars. |
