Got into the mood to draw the Time Sweeper cast and thought it would be neat to use anime expressions as a reference (though I drew them less intense here). Was going to do more characters but classes start tommorrow so I'm posting what I've done so far, might come back to this later.

tweaked my Jimmy design again lol

I'm not familiar with the concept of Jimmy emoting.

Would be nice to see some of the emotion reflected in their posture, too, even though you can't see most of their torsos.  Liking what their ears are doing, though.

Jimmy emotes every time he appears in MOTAS lmao.

Ooooh drawing the rest of their body would be a good exercise too.

His mannerisms just never felt authentic to me in the slightest.  The few times you've drawn him have felt a lot more real, somehow.

Huh, that's interesting to hear. When I do draw Jimmy I usually think of him as a major dork instead of the way he comes off in-game, that might be it.

Also, wasn't looking very closely the first time, but having just realized that you completely changed Jimmy's head shape (something was very obviously different but I didn't take the time to figure out what), I think it helps his design a ton.  The strange head shape that combines his chin and neck is part of why people find him offputting, I suspect.  Making him look more like a normal cat makes him seem more like an actual (cat) person.
