Ugh.. :shivers:  snakes make my figgity.  xD  You're mother may be onto something!  Haha simply teasing.   I love all sorts of animals but snakes I'd never permit into my home as a pet haha.  ^_^

I love it! The hints of yellow and red in the background make some lovely contrast. :D

Thank you squid!  This piece sort of randomly came together in a mixed way, with the background and foreground being painted a few weeks between one another.  So I'm glad you feel it ties together well or at least holds a good contrast together haha.  ;D  Really been wanting to do more paintings of squids, octopus, jellyfish and other cephalopods..  Have a lot of love for the ocean and its animal life, just wish I could push myself to try and paint more of it without fear lol..  ^_^  Thanks again Squid, do really appreciate your comment.

Whenever I paint something and I'm looking at a blank canvas, I feel like I'm going to mess it up or something. :XD: I really enjoyed painting in collage and told myself I'd keep doing it, but I could never quite get back into it when I tried. It's really cool that you're painting all these seascapes. I love how the ocean can be equally beautiful and creepy. :D

Yeah I feel that way also often, but that's the a feeling we both must really work on to abandon because fear will only ever limit us.  I mean to a point it is understandable because the paints, canvas, brushes, etc all cost money so it's never any fun to put money to waste, but as long as you let go and just paint out of the sake of you and what you love, and forget all fears and worries of the outcome, then you should be able to create works that you had no idea you could do.  Sorry to sound cheesy if so haha, but idk just saying really I've felt the same a lot, but to let go of any sort of fear or emotion derived of is the key.  Something though I still struggle with..  ^_^
