Please people, stop being impatient and expect your requests. I am tired of saying "please wait" a hundred times

People are complaining that it's taking a while? You have like over 100 or so, of course it's not gonna be instant.
Heck, all the time I see people who take 5-10 requests and MAYBE do one or two of them but stop forever after that. You're ACTIVELY working on all of them, they should be thankful that it'll get done eventually. >__>

Goodness me! It must be annoying to have that around... Masterpieces take work!

It doesn't matter if you're fast. As long as you're sure~

Don't worry, I'm extremely patient. I put up with waiting a whole month for a new episode of DBZ Abridged to come out, so I can put up with more than just a week or two for my request to get posted. I prefer to wait until it's done because it'll tell me that it's gonna be worth the wait.

This is exactly the reason why I don't say a word after requesting, unless absolutely necessary. It is quite rude to nag the artist on when the drawings will come, when they will obviously come eventually. On top of that, I find it pretty exhausting to fulfill dozens of requests, so of course it would take a long time. With that said, people ought to focus on something else for their time being and kindly wait. After all, we all have lives and things to do in the real world, not just on the computer. No, I disagree!

It sucks that people just don't know how to friggin shut up and wait, especially when they know you have a LOT of requests to do. People like those are the reason so many people on DA hate taking requests. If they can't wait just a few days for their picture, they should cancel and draw it themselves instead. Some of the people I request art from take weeks to do the request, but I don't pester them or yell at them for it. There was a picture I requested of over three years ago that the artist just finished yesterday. Did I say, "What took you so long?!" or yell, or give up? NO. I thanked her and told her it was wonderful and that I understood, especially since she had so many other requests, commissions, and actual work to do. In fact, I'm thankful no matter how long something took to make. The pictures that someone spent the most time on are better than the ones that took less than a few days or minutes. If these people keep this up the nest time you do requests, perhaps the best thing to do is refuse to do any requests for those specific people and just make a small waiting list for close friends or the people who never once acted like that over your art.  I'm probably gonna sound like an ass, but I've noticed the most impatient, entitled, rudest requesters/commissioners are the ones who can't draw to save their frickin lives, I've seen it a million times with other artists as well.

I know that I did not have requested something to you, but I understand. Patience has limits, but don't worry. Impatience can be overcome.
Honestly, I must admit that my own patience has limits, but I still try to do my best to overcome these.

I understand. You really don't have to make my request if you feel so.

no. I will make your request. I'm just tired of so many impatient people wanting me to do their requests quickly
