#Skeletober 2016 Complete

In October 2016, while some artists participated in the #Inktober movement, I created a movement of my own: #Skeletober! The idea was to draw pictures of Skeletor, the famous overlord of evil from Mattel's classic Masters of the Universe action figure franchise, and see how much I could do with this character. It was a great chance to try new things, practice some old techniques that I hadn't used in a long time, and do some creative things. Some were quick sketches, others were big productions, and a few are just dumb things that ammused me at the time.

My goal was to create 20 pieces of artwork over the course of the month, and I wound up doing 25! I shrared them all as they were completed on my Twitter and Tumblr, and now I present all 25, brought together in one image. Which is your favorite? Which styles do you like the best and would like to see more of in other artworks? I really like 5, 8, 14, 19, 23, and 25.

It was a lot of fun and, honestly, I could have kept going for even longer with more Skeletor art.
