Was inspired to create some artwork after reading that a CG animated movie is on the way. Currently watching the original 1970's series all the way through. Every anime fan should watch it or at least be somewhat familiar with it. You can legally watch it now in North America on Crunchyroll: [link]
Tried a new painting technique using only grays at first and then adding color, so I didn't do anything fancy in terms of composition.
