The sail of the King of Red Lions is so big that it didn't fit on the shelves... ;o)

The parts and instructions to buil your own papercraft King of Red Lions boat are in the Zelda section of my papercraft webpage: ninjatoes.wordpress.com/catego…

It's one of the biggest models I made so far (about 48 cm x 16,5 cm x 46,5 cm) and because the sail is so big, many people report that it causes the mast to bend if they don't reinforce it during the build (with cardboard, (or some people even used chopsticks ;o) or by stuffing the mast all the way with paper to make it stiff, or by tying a string from the top of the mast to the figurehead to keep it upright).

And despite it being so big, the figurehead has quite a few tiny parts, so it's a pretty challenging model, so if you decide to try it, be sure to take your time and have fun! :o)

Yeah, my other Zelda models are in this picture: [link] but the King of Red Lions didn't fit on the shelves with them... ;o)

Very close, Sora and Alice ^^

I saw the Kingdom Hearts art in your gallery, so I guessed Sora. ;o)

I really like Alice too, "twisted fairytales" make for a great atmosphere and American McGee's Alice had plenty of it! ;o)

oh yes it does, i wish i had a XBox 360 so I could get the new one that's coming out

Well, I got the original on PC CD-ROM, and I think I will get this one on PC CD-ROM again.

Console gaming is so expensive, with even handhelds reaching $250 and the games $40 or more... :o(

I haven't finished it yet because it's too tall for my display cabinet and I can't figure out where to put it...
It is an amazing model though!
ninjatoespapercraft's avatar
Yes, it's definately one of my tallest models!

I created all this extra shelving for my other paper models, but the KoRL still sits on top of my bookcase because it's so big! ;o)

THIS one, eh? :| -is still building it... I haven't had much time for papercrafting o/-

It was beautifully planned. It was much bigger than I expected xD
ninjatoespapercraft's avatar
Yeah, it's a pretty big model, especially compared to my other ones, the biggest one I made so far!
