Description
A classic powerplant. was hiding in a back stock of hundreds of photos from my London trip a few years back. felt better to share it than to let it gather dust in a shoebox. Done with 35mm colour film 
Taken at the Science Museum of London, the GREATEST science museum i have ever been too 
merlin powered several aircraft in the 30's and 40's including the obvious Spitfire and P-51 Mustang. A growth version of the Kestrel in the 30's. A larger version, called the Griffon, appeared late in the war RR pursued turbine power following this engine. It was the smart thing to do!
