Hey there! My name is Sammie, but you can call me SammaLoo~

I'm a 33 year-old who loves to draw girls, girls, and more girls. I have a few animal characters, but am still practicing with animal anatomy. I love fantasy/monster girls the most, especially slimes~

I have my BA in Art Studio and my BA in Art Education, and a Single Subject Teaching Credential in Art, and am a high school art teacher. I am also AP Visual Art certified. While my degrees are in traditional art (painting and drawing), I enjoy digital the most. I also do ceramics, photography, and miniature painting.

I draw mainly original art, only doing fanart when I'm really inspired, it's for an art trade or a commission. I enjoy character design the most.

I learn by referencing, so if any of my old works resemble something you've seen before, that's why. I mostly reference the amazing SenshiStock and faestock.

I am a self-taught digital artist who started out using a mouse for coloring then moved to a Wacom Intuos Pro to color with Photoshop CS5. My older lineart is completely done with a traditional pen, so that is why the lines are thick and sometimes sloppy. Now I am working with digital lineart on a Wacom Cintiq and Photoshop 2020.

I absolutely love animals, and currently have 2 guinea pigs (Jellybean and Sushi Roll), 3 parakeets (Pickle, Chester Pine Shack Frosty/Chessy, and Ricky), and the best puppy ever, COCONUT! She's a Maltese-mutt. I love going on nature walks, taking photos of the wildlife, and bird watching. I'm also always playing Pokemon Go.

In my spare time when I'm not doing art, I love gaming, reading, and watching YouTube. Currently I play Heroes of the Storm every night with my team, I am reading the Five Nights at Freddy's books, and I watch a lot of John Wolfe and PewDiePie. I also love attending anime cons, cosplaying, and making custom ita bags. My favorite anime/manga are Berserk, Cowboy Bebop, and Puella Magi Madoka Magica.
