There is a mystical temple that is said to be the mouth of Leviathan, it is said to dwell in the mountains of Ashlunkor much like a mirage dwells on the shimmering sands. Now appearing here, now appearing there, but never staying solid long enough for anyone to actually reach it.
Many went in search of it, only to return decades later, seemingly having forgot why they went, or where they'd been, or even who they were. And it's precisely this that was the key to finding the place, for the place lives as an idea lives in a mind, it only occurs to the right kinds of people. And when it does occur, the prison of the mind is breaken and the person is freed.
That's what happens to the ones that find it, the ones who don't return.

That said, slightly confused about the name? I'm wondering if you meant "maw" (given the mouth imagery) or if there's some exceptionally archaic definition for "maul" that I've never heard of.
It seems that there are some Thai influences in the temple architecture.
I love the transition between the blue in the front, then the green and then the yellow (from cold colours to warm ones).
Really good.
You really did a masterpiece here! after that i have a no words
Thanks
