MD HC/AU - Third Time's A Charm!

It took me a while, but I came up with a rough concept for the story of these three and their fate in my post-canon AU. I decided to give them a second chance because after watching "Murder Drones" again, I liked Doll's character and I also want her character in my art.

As for the context of these characters, my rough story is that after defeating and imprisoning Solver in Uzi, after some time something strange starts happening in her code. The symptoms start to show up clearly and one fateful morning Uzi wakes up with multi-colored eyes which scares her and her friends. Of course she panics and doesn't know what's going on. Thanks to Nori's help, Uzi discovers that she has "backups" codes for Doll, Cyn and Tessa, which Solver was keeping. After a long negotiation, it was decided to separate these codes from Uzi and give them a new form and be prepared for any consequences when these entities get a body or not. Solver stayed with Uzi for safety.

In short, I thought of something based on theories or light hints shown in the series:

Tessa James Elliott - formerly a human living on Earth, currently a conscious and fully advanced hologram. My personal headcanon is that Solver, before killing Tessa, managed to copy and transfer her memories and personality to their self (thanks to words "I will not discard you") and thanks to this they had a hold on J by convincing her that if she follows orders, they can bring Tessa back thanks to these supplies. After defeating Solver, thanks to all the developed and advanced technology, Tessa returns as a hologram. Her situation was complicated due to the fact that she was once a human and had biometric data and it would be risky to place her in the body of a drone (I hope it makes some sense lol). At first she manifests only with the help of Uzi, but then thanks to Nori's help she gets a chance for her own independence (something like a router). Tessa has a hard time adjusting to the new reality of life as a photographic record at first, but with the support of her friends, she accepts her condition and learns to live with it. Eventually, she can enter any software, hack computers, control cameras, and the like. She "makes" her own clothes or Uzi has program them for her. She is a major factor in J possibly getting redemption. Technically, Tessa is an adult now.

The inspiration for this character of Tessa is the character Nicole the Holo-Lynx from the Sonic comic series. 😊

Doll - After Tessa, Doll manages to return to the world of the living thanks to the spare code in Uzi and have her old but upgraded body (Her chest was split open so she had to get a new torso and worker drone parts are now very rare to find in perfect condition). As for the legs, Doll herself wanted them but only after some time. Returning to reality was extremely difficult for Doll. Why wouldn't it be? She was killed, her parents were killed, she came back against her will, her best friend (and crush) and her close friend started dating her parents' murderer and she had to interact with her almost every day and the rest of the colony was afraid of her! It was horrible and suffocating for her! Luckily, Uzi's parents and Uzi herself were there to support her and try to reconcile her with her current state. They gave her understanding and a sense of comfort that she hadn't had for a long time. Doll needed it. When her mom and dad died, she had no one to talk to or share it with, and Lizzy wouldn't help anyway in her opinion. Surprisingly, N and soon J also became her support system (I plans on J becoming her new best friend/bestie). Nori and Khan decided to adopt Doll, and she decided to become a sort of protector of the colony and help others in need in return to make up for her past sins. She still has a strained relationship with Lizzy and V and prefers to avoid them.

I like this version, and the version where she became the "ghost" silhouette shown in the end credits. So this choice is not final yet. 😅

Cyn - after the Doll, it was Cyn's turn. At first Uzi didn't know who the code belonged to, but after sending it into a new worker drone body (found and miraculously repaired) it was discovered that it was Cyn. The real Cyn. Not the one who had shared a body and consciousness with AS for years, but the one who had been herself before being taking to Mr. and Mrs. Elliott. Even though the real Cyn was now free and independent, those years of being a host for murderous software led to the poor thing behaving exactly like them. She may not have wanted to kill, but speech and deticulation left no illusions and, by the way, traumatic memories on others, including mainly Uzi, N, V, and J. It was decided to put Cyn in a room isolated from the other drones just in case and slowly conduct therapy on her. Her main visitor is N, who still sees her as his younger sister, who now needed help rebuilding her own self. Even if there is a risk that her former personality will never return...

Don't worry, Cyn is treated well, she even has her own toys and coloring books that N gives her. ♥
