this is it.
almost every day of the year, I pass it. with beautiful sunrises, fogs and a coldness indescribable, but still with such a warmth that lies deep down under, this place was calling me. "come here, you'll find peace!", it whispered every time the tram I sat in was rushing by. and today, I found the it right here. it's different to everything I'd imagined, but we all know high expectations barely ever full-fill. so I'm sitting here, watching the trams passing by, wondering if I'm the only one it's calling for.
- I wrote this the first time I came here. I don't quite remember what day that was neither how I felt by that time, but all I know is that even though I share no specific memories with this place, it somehow intrigues me. how a place can be so ugly, waste and trash all over it, noise from airplanes and the trams passing by, a place that is easily over-seen, how can a place like that feel so ... calming? it feels as though it's one massive metaphor and I can't put my finger on what it is supposed to mean.
but maybe that's what makes it so intriguing.
and I feel like this can be related to so many things. to people, to books, to nature, to feelings, to everything there is ... I suppose it's just the point of view.
