Jerry Seinfeld Apartment floorplan (Updated)

By nikneuk
.

The apartment of Jerry Seinfeld from his show "SEINFELD" (Updated)

Some sets have changed throughout the different seasons and this floorplan is a mixture of various of them.

This is a hand drawed plan, in scale, coloured with colour pencils and with full details of furniture, fabric, timbers and complements...

The design is made according with the "real" apartment respecting the spaces, proportions, furniture and objets presents in the studio set.

Do you pick which homes you draw yourself or do you take suggestions or is it commissions?

I have a looong list made of personal choices and suggestions from other people.
There are people who ask me for impossible things ("Draw Hogwarts", for example) that I can't take for lack of time or because they are impossible layouts.
And sometimes I have done custom projects of private homes for some couples or families.
What was your suggestion?

I was gonna suggest the Smith household from Rick and Morty because it's one of my favorite shows and due to it's attention to detail their house actually stays consistent in terms of layout throughout the series and such things so I thought that that woudln't be too impossible to draw a floor plan of.

I'm not a follower of that series but you are not the first person who suggests me to make a floorplan of that house.
So I'll keep it in mind.
Thank you very much.

I'm sure in universe there's no way Jerry could've afforded this corner apartment, seeing how rent in NYC is astronomical and Jerry never "worked"

He was a touring comedian throughout the show.  He would often be returning or leaving for a tour.   Easy to miss since at home he was never working in the daily grind sense as were Elaine and (sometimes) George.

That's one of the mysteries of these apartments and houses...
The magic of TV...

Such a miserably small apartment. Yet so many fond memories.

Miserably small??!? For Manhattan??? No.
