The apartment of Dr. Frasier Crane from the show "FRASIER"
.
Some sets have changed throughout the different seasons and this floorplan is a mixture of various of them.
This is a hand drawed plan, in scale, coloured with colour pencils and with full details of furniture, fabric, timbers and complements...
The design is made according with the "real" apartment respecting the spaces, proportions, furniture and objets presents in the studio set.

This is so amazing. It's funny, because on TV the camera is always set "diagonally" so you never realize you're looking at such an odd floor plan, where it splits off into two different directions.

And my God- what is the BUILDING shaped like, to have floors like this on it? One wing stretching all the way out, with another poking out much less, with the balconies shoved in between them? Very odd.

I never imagined that closet behind the "Main Wall" you always see on TV (where in the first seasons, you could always see over it, but eventually they'd shoot scenes from a little lower), and I always thought Frasier & Martin's rooms were beside each other, not one in front of the other, but I never looked that closely. They shot very, VERY few scenes in that bedroom hallway.

What's the room between Daphne's room and the kitchen?

Does Martin have his own tiny patio?

It never occurred to me that it was L-shaped like that before.

It looks great, though. I love his apartment, I mean out of all the TV houses I've ever seen I think I would want to own his the most.

But maybe a proper HOUSE with that same layout, leading to a back patio instead of a balcony.

Absolutely beautiful! I love the detail very much! I really want to work on saving to purchase this as a print, considering that my husband and I bonded greatly over this show.

Oh, I'm glad you like it...
In fact I'm a bit ashamed of this "old" drawing.
The last versions are more accurate and detailed as you can see here:

Maybe you can save some money and order an original handmade drawing Christmas instead of a print...

Beautiful work here. I know well the pain of trying to make somewhat inconsistent floor plans line up.

Have you considered trying to lay out Niles' place at the Shangrala? That's pretty much my dream apartment.

Anyways, well done!

Thank you very much.
I'm glad you like my drawings.
Yes, Niles place at the Shangri-La it was a dream apartment... but too big.
Someone once said that it was a three-storey apartment, but they only show a small part of it.
The hall, one living room, a ridiculously small kitchen, part of a dinning room and a library in one episode.
If I did this floorplan I would have to imagine 80% of the spaces...

Years late on this reply haha. But I'm sure you mean the Montana. The Shangri-La was that haggard temporary apartment Niles stayed at.

Oh, yes... The Montana.

I wonder why I wrote Shangri-La...

I love this show, my Mom and I watch it everyday on Comedy Network when I get home from work.

I always thought frasier and Martin shared a bathroom behind the fire place and that both the doors in their rooms were just closets.
