Hey there Nikkolas,

I just dropped in to say: welcome to :iconblackartsociety: ! You have a wonderfully diverse array of styles in your gallery - all wonderfully executed.  We're looking forward to seeing more of you.

Happy birthday x3

Though you are entitled to create any art you wish, I disagree with the picture you created of Dr. Martin Luther King wearing a hoodie.

Dr. Martin Luther King is a respectable and influential figure in this society and by his past actions it is hard to believe he would wear or do something such as that.

In this subject it is apparent you have offended his family and possibly encourage others to create offending pictures such as that.

Though you have every right to disregard this message you should know many people view what you have created as disrespectful and disgusting.

For future knowledge please be respectful of influential figures.

For  anyone who missed the artistic intent or may be misinformed.. i spoke with Dr. Alveda King on HLN live yesterday.. check it out! *MLK Hoodie interview (video)*

I think it's disrespectful as well. This case wasn't about race. It was a misunderstanding between both parties. MLK was not a race-baiter, and would, therefore, not buy into the hoodie symbolization.
