Add to the mix the chance to rub elbows with some of the greatest performance artists ever to grace the stage, and there was no way we could turn it down.So, decked in my ninja finery :lol: I packed :devJustProwling:~:iconJustProwling: into the truck and off we went. I'm glad I took my sherpa with me-- that taskmaster :devJadeMacalla:~:iconJadeMacalla: had us running all over Metrocon http://www.metroconventions.com/ I think he even wore out :devNisori:~:iconNisori: of the brightly-colored shoes and anime hair.

Dirty, Filthy, Stinking...
...and HAPPY from working in the garden!There's just something about getting my hands in the earth that makes me feel grounded and at peace. And seeing the wildlife flock to my corner of paradise tells me I'm on the right track.The front Hamelia patens is absolutly swarming with bees, wasps, beetles and butterflies. The back flowerbeds are now all planted with native and/or "Florida friendly" butterfly attracting flowers, and I'm rewarded daily for my efforts.All my recent images are from my own yard. How cool is that? :D
Craziness
Sometimes the really real world leaves you with very little time for those extra things you enjoy. Like dA.For all of you who have faved and commented on my work and wondered if perhaps I'd fallen into a hole somewhere, FEAR NOT! :P I'm dragging my snarkiness out of the cupboard and dusting it off. It might need a tuneup, but I have no doubt you'll regret it in no time! :D
