Mousecape fork that is modern
There's a Mousecape fork for those interested.
Mousecape was originally coded by Alex Zielenski and has seen updates, but it's been quiet on that front for quite a while now.
Alex Zielenski's Mousecape GitHub page with a, mind you, functioning macOS Sequoia Mousecape release, but not applicable for macOS Tahoe.

Then there was a macOS Tahoe specific fork that also worked great.
Had no issues applying cursors on macOS Tahoe using that particular fork.
This time around there's another fork that is way ahead of Mousecape with more than 170 code commits past Alex' own Mousecape release. Quite a accomplishment.
I'll let you read about it on GitHub, but essentially it has a new interface and works on macOS Tahoe and macOS Sequoia.
I'm just excited to share the application. Nothing more than great appreciation for something that turns out to be a such cool addition to macOS; Mousecape. Before that of course Mighty Mouse by Unsanity. That was
