i have a problem disabling the command bar ( ribbon is replaced by the command bar). I tried modifying shellstyle.dll but it is not working. i stll get this anoying command bar.

Any ideas?

In your settings for oldnewexlporer make sure default shellstyle is displayed.

Broken on 1809, both light and dark mode. Explorer theme completely broken, with orange backdrop in files view. Any ideas whats wrong?

Probably the patcher didn't patch your system. Uninstall it and take ownership of the following files in C:\Windows\System32

uxtheme.dll, UXInit.dll and themeui.dll. You may use this:www.howtogeek.com/howto/window…

Install the patcher again.

how do i uninstall it? im still pretty new to windows theming and by now i am used to linux theming, and i've downloaded and installed UltraUXThemePatcher.

Revert back to your default Windows Aero theme first. Make a system restore point. Then under Settings/Apps click on it to uninstall. Then follow the procedure again to install it.

These themes are very nice but would be even better is the navigation panel where the Libraries and Quick access folders display was black or dark grey with white text.
