nice job, even through tchar looks like some earth bird, his wings are somewhat unique since they look sleeker than any bird from our planet.

AWESOME JOB!!! Love I always loved the Skorr they always reminded me of the Aurelians: I understand that the character design was reused for the Skorr as a budget-saving measure. :) (Smile) With the way CGI has improved over the years I wish they would try to integrate alien races and stories from the Star Trek: The Animated Series  into the new Star Trek  alternate reality films.Wish

That's a great episode. And I even love the book adaption from Alan Dean Foster.

i have to admit i have never read the book but i definitely loved the episode :)

Well, nearly all the animated episodes have been adapted to book form, by Alan Dean Foster. Except I think "Mudd's Story". Overall the adaptions are pretty cool, but one or two of them are really terrible as he purposely runs thru the plot quick and then has the rest of the book length be his own story. One, I think the "Slaver Weapon", made me so mad I ranted for like a week. "Jihad" is one of the best ones! I own most of the volumes in special collection sets. You could probably find them in a library or really cheap on Ebay.

cool, i will definitely look into that.

i think i will try Jihad first though as i think the other ones which do not stick true to the animated stories would annoy me also :)

Good idea! It mostly just expands the journey the heroes take to reach the temple so it's a good starting point. "Time Trap" is also one of my favorites cause it expands the backstory on characters from the episode, "Terratin Incident" and "Ambergris Element" both start with backstories for Arex and M'ress which is pretty cool. "Practical Joker", "How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth", and "More Tribbles, More Troubles" are good too. I haven't read all of the adaptions so far, but the ones I mentioned and the other ones I own go from Not Bad to Pretty Great Read.

cool, i will definitely look into those ones you mentioned. i especially like the sound of the ones that go into m'ress & arex's background stories.

Have fun with them! I salute you!  The M'ress background is my favorite, although the rest of the story "The Ambergris Element" is okay-not-great.

i love m'ress as a character so i am really looking to find out more about her background :)

That was a good episode. A lot of good action- and a lot of characters, too.
