Master Ridolfo Capo Ferro as shown in the frontispiece of his rapier fencing treatise "Gran Simulacro dell'Arte e dell'Uso della Scherma" (c.1610).
(or as my friends call him - Tintin's evil twin)
According to Nick Thomas from the Academy of Historical Fencing, master Capo Ferro was 52 years old when his fencing treatise was published.
As a student (and instructor of his work) it was only suited that I made my homage to the master whose work is so widely studied, interpreted and tought today.
As a neat detail, you can see my name signed right before his with the roman date of 2017, if for some reason you can't read it
Onwards to the next!!
