It won't last for long, but it will be some of the best days in his life, to date. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ It will have a lot of overcoming fears, adventure, trust, being trusted, helping and being helped, kindness, nature and tons of Uncle Author's certified good-stuff. "Have courage," I whispered. I could tell that he couldn't hear me. Then, I'm a crow. Not that many humans understand me. Or my language, at least. Most of them know when I'm hungry or want to play. Neither food nor joy mattered to him. He was in mourning. Being this grief stricken meant that he had lost his mate. Maybe even his hatchlings. It won't last for long, but it will be some of the best days in his life, to date. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ It will have a lot of overcoming fears, adventure, trust, being trusted, helping and being helped, kindness, nature and tons of Uncle Author's certified good-stuff. The whole thing might look a bit hard to believe for some, because these kids are actually in a juvenile detention centeer but, actually: I know for certain this kind of thing happens in real life, where I live. "Have courage," I whispered. I could tell that he couldn't hear me. Then, I'm a crow. Not that many humans understand me. Or my language, at least. Most of them know when I'm hungry or want to play. Neither food nor joy mattered to him. He was in mourning. Being this grief stricken meant that he had lost his mate. Maybe even his hatchlings.
