Despite my, seemingly and truly, no progress in my drawing skill, even after long years of hiatus from dA, I'm returning here to enjoy drawing again, supporting my fellow artists, and maybe have a nice chat with you all .

Thanks for the on 'Lagertha Lothbrok'
I always amazed at hyper-realism artist and still wondering how come they 'translate' the world that they see into such lovely art style... and those details too!
of course, now that I'm trying to be more active here, I have to watch your gallery.
Thank you for sharing them with us!
Every artist has their own style, their own medium and they're own take on things
Hyper-realism is not many folks cup of tea and it's usually one of the more ignored and disregarded art styles.
I've always been fascinated with detail work ever since I started drawing as a kid, lots of small but detailed images back then.
Had a really good art teacher at secondary school and she taught me a lot about colour and deconstruction and the rest is just down to constant practice and experimenting with shades, colours and layers.
Also helps that I have a visually targeted photographic memory.
I used to just do ink and graphite pencil work but started using colour properly in 2010.
Took 6 months just playing around with the polychromos to see what I could do and went from there.
Always teaching myself new things and seeing where it takes me. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't but it's all experience.
Thanks for being my 1750th watcher, it's really appreciated
To avoid spamming your wall I thank watchers in a monthly journal and post about every 8-10 days.
