enjoy the holidays:…
And the fat lady sang. The nukes exploded. The land is scorched. Everywhere you look, there is wasteland. And sadness.
"It ain't over 'til the fat lady sings" - the fat lady took the scene and unleashed her voice at the best of her abilities. The voice travels around the land with the land at the speed of a cruise missile. Hope it will hit the target. Hope there will be the Apocalypse. Hope nobody will stand up.
Having to draw some fantasy themed characters for a commercial assignment (so probably they will not get shown there), but with everything around so sad and gloomy, including a pathetic birthday, feeling so down and lonely, that building the energy needed for the task look like an impossible goal, the creativity has gone dry. Needing a ray of light.
A few people asked where I was last week, when missing from the face of the internet and my most comprehensive answer was "in Heaven, all the 9 circles of Hell, Purgatory and some more" ...part of them interpreted this as me staying home and playing some computer game, fantasy RPG or so.

Well... alternate reality: check, fantasy: check, heaven: check, all circles of hell: check, purgatory: I am not sure about that, it looked like purgatory but now is more like hell again. And I am getting deeper and deeper in it.
Damned if I do anything, damned if I don't do something. What should I do? Help...
confused: a "no" is a "no" and will ever be a "no" or there may be the slightest chance for it to become a "yes"? ...before being a "no" it used to be "maybe" but...
Turning "emo" much?
I published in the Red Hat Magazine a photo enhancement tutorial: How to touch-up portraits with GIMP.
I got this article about using blur in Inkscape published in the <a">Red Hat Magazine.
Read it, make your own deviations with Inkscape and publish them.
So we now have the fedora-art group, all Fedora users and developers are invited to join
For quite some time I have the idea of creating a group here on dA of Fedora users/fans/artists, something like the Inkscape community (Inkscapers), a place to share graphic elements, to show each other latest creations, to keep contests, etc..
I do not log on dA very often, so I am not a good founder and maintainer for such a group, but I pass the idea here, maybe someone else will follow it.
