Hi all. I am still alive. Sorry I haven't had any time to draw anything of note.
I got promoted at work, bought a house, got another cat (now up to five pets....), and have wasted a lot of time writing fanfiction. You can find me on fanfiction.net under the same username if you're curious.
I suppose all I really have to say is that I love my new job. I work full time, but it feels like no time at all. The weeks have just flown by. Getting dumped by the University was the best thing that could've happened to me. I am seriously damaged by that place, and my boss is always assuring me that they're not going to treat me like they did at Akron. I still live in abject terror though.
The only thing that really happened lately is that Adam and I tried to adopt a dog. Since I'm gone most of the day, our dog is lonely, and gets into trouble. The solu
After being out of work for three long weeks, I finally got some great news. After seven interviews, I landed a job at The J.M. Smucker's Company in Orrville, Ohio! I am now the Archives Coordinator for one of the Best Places to Work as ranked by Fortune Magazine. I have great benefits, the workplace is 15 minutes away from my house, and I'll be making twice what I was making at the stupid University! I am so excited, the job is perfect for me. It's almost too good to be true.
All this means not only do I have a job I can be proud of, but I can fix up my crapshack house. I start one week from Monday.
