Getting Closer: Shelly and Firegirl

This was an very fun commission from the extremely sweet

The characters are the lovely bodyguard Shelly Erickson (in yellow) and the gorgeous redhead superheroine Firegirl, part of his Captain Satellite book! Learn more here: [link]

He wanted me to draw a little pinup of his girls, where Shelly takes the bold initiative and tries to get a little close to Firegirl. Needless to say, that's right up my alley. He let me play around with his design of Shelly, but I drew a lot of inspiration from the designs of :
