That's a neat detail, giving each limb a bit of backstory. I always assumed they were just mismatched because she didn't have the money or resources for a full set.

I just hope this isn't starting to annoy people. I swear, her life starts getting better from here. I'm not  trying to bludgeon people over the head with scenes like this, like "PLEEEEASE" feel sorry for this character I made."

... but I can see why it feels like that.
